This journey commences in Pretoria and proceeds through the southern regions of Botswana. We then enter Namibia, traveling northward before crossing back into Botswana via one of its northern borders to reach Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Following a brief visit to Victoria Falls, we return to Botswana and gradually make our way back south towards South Africa.

What we got planned:
Day 1: Airport/Hotel to Pilanesberg Game Reserve
- After Firefly African Safari’s picked you up at Airport or hotel we leave Pretoria to Pilanesberg Nature reserve
- Depart late morning on a 120 km drive.
- Game drive in the park with the big 5 to view.
Meals included: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Pilanesberg to Mabuasehube in the Kghalagadi Transfrontier Park
- Depart early morning on a 650 km drive.
- At the end of a long day we enjoy our unfenced campsite with the night sounds all around us.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3: Mabuasehube to Nossob via 4×4 wilderness route.
- Depart early morning on a 200 km drive.
- Game drives along the Nossob River or relax in camp after a long drive through the sand dunes of the Kalahari. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4: Nossob to Kaa via Polentswa.
- Depart early morning on a 240 km drive.
- Have a great day with big herds of animals along the Nossob River and 4×4 driving through the dunes of Mabuasehube. Accommodation: Campsite with minimal facilities. Firefly African Safari’s provide hot water and toilets.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5:Kaa to Zeldas private game farm in Namibia.
- Depart early morning on a 450 km drive.
- Experience the desolation of Africa in a unique way. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 6: Zeldas to Windhoek.
- Replenish supplies in Windhoek and experience the people of Namibia on our way to Etosha National Park Campsite. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 7: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
- Depart early morning on a 410 km drive.
- Game drives in Etosha National Park. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 8: Etosha National Park to Sikereti (Khaudum National Park)
- Depart early morning on a 510 km drive.
- Possibilities of seeing big herds of elephants. Accommodation: Campsite with minimal facilities. Firefly African Safari’s provide hot water and toilets.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 9: Sikereti to Divundu.
- Depart early morning on a 220 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en scenery of Namibia and relax at campsite. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 10: Divundu to Kasane via Caprivi Strip.
- Depart early morning on a 420 km drive.
- We take a sunset boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River and relax at camp or explore the town of Kasane. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 11: Kasane to Chobe and back to Kasane.
- Depart early morning on a game drive through Chobe National Park.
- Chances are good to see elephants cross the river. This is the park that has the biggest elephant population in Africa. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 12: Kasane to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
- Depart early morning on an 80 km drive.
- We visit the widest waterfall in the world and relax for the day or explore the town and its wide range of breath taking optional activities. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 13: Victoria Falls to Moremi Xakanaxa campsite via Chobe and Savuti.
- Depart early morning on a 280 km drive.
- Relax at campsite or go on a game drive in the Moremi. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 14: Xakanaxa Campsite to 3rd Bridge campsite.
- Depart early morning on a 50 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en route. We go on a boat cruise on the Okavango Delta. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 15: 3rd Bridge Campsite to Maun.
- Depart early morning on a 120 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en route. We go on a makorro adventure in the Okavango Delta. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 16: Maun to Nxai Pans.
- Depart early morning on a 240 km drive.
- We visit the Baines Baobabs on the salt pans. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 17: Nxai Pans to Makghadighadi Pans.
- Depart early morning on an 80 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife on the Boteti riverside. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 18: Maghadighadi pans to Kubu Island.
- Depart early morning on a 200 km drive.
- Time for photos of this iconic island with its Baobabs. Accommodation: Campsite with minimal facilities. Firefly African Safari’s provide hot water and toilets.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 19: Kubu Island to Khama Rhino Sanctuary.
- Depart early morning on a 200 km drive.
- Enjoy the endangered rhino and relax at the campsite. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 20: Khama Rhino Sanctuary to White Haven Safaris in Lephalale.
- Depart early morning on a 300 km drive.
- Game drive on private game reserve or relax on the banks of the Limpopo River. Accommodation: Exclusive campsite with no facilities. Firefly African Safari’s provide hot water showers and toilets.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 21: Lephalale to Pretoria.
- Depart early morning on a 360 km drive. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Drop off at hotel or airport by Firefly African Safari’s personnel.
