This trip begins in Pretoria, through Botswana. All the way up the country, through the Okavango Delta. Cross over the border in Zimbabwe, to Victoria Falls and back down Botswana to South Africa
Should you wish to explore Johannesburg area and arrive a few days earlier, Firefly African Safari’s personnel can assist you with booking your accommodation. However, costs due to earlier arrival will be for your own account.
What we got planned:
Day 1: Airport to Lephalale
- After Firefly African Safari’s picked you up at Airport or hotel we leave Pretoria to White Haven Safaris in Lephalale.
- Depart late morning on a 360 km drive.
- Game drive on private game reserve or relax on the banks of the Limpopo River.
Meals included: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Lephalale to Khama Rhino Sanctuary near Serowe
- Depart early morning on a 300 km drive.
- Game drive on Khama Rhino Sanctuary.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3: Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Kubu Island
- Depart early morning on a 200 km drive.
- Enjoy the magnificent Boabab trees and the desolation and vastness of the area.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4: Kubu Island to Maun (Kazikinni Camp)
- Depart early morning on a 350 km drive.
- Replenish supplies in Maun and experience the people of Botswana on our way to Kazikinni Campsite. Accommodation: Well equipped campsite and good ablution.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Kazikinni to 3Rd Bridge Camp in Moremi Game Reserve
- Depart early morning on a 100 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en route. Relax in the camp or go on a game drive.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 6: 3Rd Bridge Camp to Xakanaxa Camp in Moremi Game Reserve
- Depart early morning on a 50 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en route. We go on a boat cruise on the Okavango Delta.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 7: Xakanaxa Camp to Khwai Community Camp
- Depart early morning on a 90 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en route. Relax in the camp or go on a game drive.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 8: Khwai Community Camp to Kasane via Savuti
- Depart early morning on a 240 km drive.
- Enjoy the wildlife en route. At Kasane we go on a boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 9: Kasane to Chobe National Park and back to Kasane
- Depart early morning on a game drive through Chobe National Park.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 10: Kasane to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
- Depart early morning on an 80 km drive.
- We visit the spectacular Victoria Falls and relax rest of the day.
Meals included: Breakfast, and lunch.
Day 11: Victoria Falls to Nata (Botswana) Elephant Sands Camp
- Depart early morning on a 400 km drive.
- We enjoy the elephants and other animals at the waterhole near the campsite.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 12: Nata to Tuli Game Reserve (Molema Camp)
- Depart early morning on a 320 km drive.
- Campsite on the banks of the Limpopo River with its large Jackalberry trees.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 13: Tuli Game Reserve to Mapungubwe Reserve (South Africa)
- Depart early morning on an 80 km drive.
- We cross the Limpopo River back to South Africa. Relax at campsite or go on last game drive of our tour.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 14: Tuli Game Reserve to Pretoria (South Africa)
- Depart early morning on a 480 km drive.
- We cross the Limpopo River back to South Africa. Relax at campsite or go on last game drive of our tour.
Drop off at hotel or airport by Firefly African Safari’s personnel.
